The Rent & Vacancy by Type Report is divided into 5 sections:
Market Units - Revenue and number of units by type of market rent unit.
RGI Units - Revenue and number of units by type of RGI unit.
Subsidy Units - Allocated subsidy and number of units by type of unit.
Vacancy Market Units - Revenue loss and number of units by type of market rent unit.
Vacancy RGI Units - Revenue loss and number of units by type of RGI unit.
The Rent and Vacancy by Type view is generally used to display and print this report.
The Single Period Report view can be used to look at account balances by type of unit for a given period without the unit counts.
The Setup view is used to set up this report in a new set of books or a set of books that have been converted from NV1 or NV2. The Setup view can also be used to change the report setup if required.
In the Database Explorer, activate (click on) the Rent & Vacancy by Type.
The Rent & Vacancy by Type report can be found by expanding the following folders: NewViews/Report/Rent & Subsidy
If you are not on the Rent and Vacancy by Type view (/REPORT/R&S/RENTTYPE - Accounts, Rent and Vacancy by Type should be displayed on the title bar), click the Accounts tab and choose Rent and Vacancy by Type
To change the reporting period, double click the header of the amount column, then enter the new Begin Date and End Date in the Define Columns prompt box.
Repeat the last step for the count column.
