Print Housing Reports

NewViews for Non-profit Housing provides a tool for printing a variety of reports on the members/tenants residing in the building. Currently, the following reports are available: Unit Specific Age, Age Group Details, Income Review Required, Meeting Sign In Sheet, and Housing Income Limit (HIL).

To print a housing report:

  1. In the Database Explorer, activate (click on) Current Member/Tenants, or Former Member/Tenants if you are printing housing reports for members/tenants that have moved out.

These folders can be found by expanding the following folders: Newviews/Account/Accounts Receivable.

  2. Mark a block containing the member/tenant accounts for which the housing report is to be printed.

This can be done a few different ways. Block>All will mark a block containing every item in the table. Block>Start and Block>End can be used to mark a contiguous (sequential) block, as can holding <Shift> and clicking begin and end items. Holding <Ctrl> and clicking individual items can be used to add/remove items from a discontiguous (non-sequential) block.

  3. Issue the Print>Housing Reports command and fill in the prompt as described below.

Prints a list of all members/tenants in each unit, listing their age and birth dates. Sorted by unit number.

Age Group Details:

Same as Unit Specific Age but sorted by age instead of unit number.

Income Review Required:

Prints a list indicating when each unit is up for review. This report shows the next effective review date and how many days until that date. Units are sorted by urgency (fewest days until review).

Meeting Sign In Sheet:

Prints a list of all member/tenants in the building. Note that the Member/Tenant field in the Residents table must be set to yes in order for that member/tenant to appear on the report.

Housing Income Limit (HIL):

This report is much more complicated than the other reports listed above. The HIL report calculates average incomes for RGI units and categorizes them into families, seniors, non-elderly singles and special needs.
