Closure indexes are kept everywhere in NewViews. Shown above is an example "branch" journal folder activated, and all purchase transactions from all journals "below" are displayed.
NOTICE: The double chevron in the Date ^^ column title. A double chevron is the instant visual clue that the items displayed are gathered up from all the underlying journals and presented in date order (reverse date in this case - "^^" is reverse order, "vv" is forward order). Clicking the column title will toggle the order forward and backward.
Shown below is a "leaf" journal folder activated. The items displayed are the direct transactions only and the column title has a single chevron ("^"). This is the place transactions are added, changed and deleted.
Printing commands, tools and so on, almost always function on both leaf folder direct items or branch folder closure items.
