Customizing Desktops

In NewViews, there are four main levels: report, account, transaction and distribution. Each level has its own menu with appropriate options, and its own set of windows. The windows present the information in ways that are useful for most users. You can also modify these windows to be even more specific to your needs.

Manipulating Windows

A NewViews desktop, and all the windows/tables on the desktop can be resized to suit your viewing preferences.

You can resize:

• the entire desktop
• the height of any table
• the width of any column
• the size of any pop-up box
• the font in any table

Windows can also be tiled vertically or horizontally.

Customizing Tables

• Tables can be sorted in ascending or descending order
• Columns within tables can be resized, moved or hidden
• Columns can be automatically resized to fit data in order to display the most information possible on the screen.
