Tags are an arbitrary alphanumeric string that can be assigned to journals and transactions to partition the books.
NewViews has three preset partition tags: financial, order and budget.
Every place in NewViews where account balances and ledgers are displayed, tags are respected, and you can set the tag for which you want to see amounts or postings.
