Sales of goods or services to customers (i.e. revenue) or cash transactions are recorded in a sales journal.
NV2 "out of the box" provides two sales journals: a Sales Invoices journal and a Sales Orders journal.
If you don't recognize the view, use the View Command to switch between various levels of details in the lower pink invoicing table. If you are not familiar with switching views, please read Transaction Detail Table Views for further information and tips and techniques.
For information on adding invoices, see Adding Sales Invoices.
For information on backorders/partial receipts, see Backorders/Partial Receipts.
For information on units of measure, see Units of Measure - Sales.
You can add more sales journals as required (see Sub-Journals).
The Profit Columns can be added by executing the menu command View>Profit Columns on the transaction header table and/or the transaction detail table.
For information on adding profit columns to accounts, see Adding Profit Columns to Sales Accounts.
