Totalto Graphs for Transactions

You can position on any transaction (pink table) or ledger item (green table) and issue the Tools>Totalto>Graph Above command. The selected accounts will be every account that the transaction posts to. You will therefore see in the graph every posting account affected by the transaction, as well as all total accounts above them.

Note: This only works for above graphs, as there are no accounts below a transaction.

Shown below is the command about to execute on a purchase invoice detail item.

Shown below is the graph created.

Shown below is the same command about to execute on a purchase invoice header.

Shown below is the graph created.

When a user does not have access to all accounts posted to, the graph will stop at the appropriate points. The graph shown below demonstrates this.

When you select transactions on a journal, all accounts affected by the header and all details below (distribution items) are included in the graph. If you select just details (distribution items), then only the accounts affected by those details and their header are included. Note that when you select ledger items (green table), they could correspond to either headers or details and the accounts are selected for the graph accordingly.

Finally, you can also mark a block of transactions, and the graph will include all accounts affected by the entire block of transactions.
