Canadian January 01, 2026 payroll update.

All Canadian payroll users will require this version to process payroll after January 1st, 2026.

This release includes Canadian payroll processing for federal withholdings and 13 jurisdictions: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Yukon.

All United States payroll users will require this version to process payroll after January 1st, 2026.

This release includes updated processing for federal withholdings and it includes 20 jurisdictions that have released final specifications: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia and Yonkers.

Tools>Create Transactions>Duplicate is faster in a multi-user setting.

Users working with transactions that contain many distribution items (hundreds or thousands, such as a monthly rent roll) experienced slow performance when duplicating these transactions, especially in multi-user environments with high latency. This release includes a redesigned duplication function that performs the operation significantly faster.

There is a new Help>Remote Support menu command to launch RustDesk.

We are transitioning our remote support platform from TeamViewer to RustDesk, as their technology is more in line with our goal of providing best-in-class support services. Either program can be run from within NewViews or on our website until December 31, 2025. As of January 1, 2026, only RustDesk will be available for remote connection with our support team.

When support for OAuth email was introduced the ability to include a bcc list was omitted. This release fixes the problem.
