The menu that is displayed is context sensitive - you will always be provided with commands that are applicable to the window that is currently active.
Most commands are briefly described below. The majority of them work everywhere but some are very context specific and will only appear in the menu when applicable.
Click a command name to see detailed descriptions of each command option.
Save, back up and close the books. Check data integrity.
Add, change, delete or rearrange transactions, accounts, reports, etc.
Control the view of data, e.g. in journals, ledgers and reports.
Control how NewViews displays tables in a window.
Perform specific tasks, e.g. apply deposits and payments, pay accounts, add interest charges, fill columns, run scripts, etc.
Add, manage and go to bookmarks in a set of books.
Go to an item, any account or find a column value.
Print cheques, reports, ledgers, transactions, etc.
Control blocks of transactions, accounts, employees, reports, etc.
Display the audit trail.
