When viewing any figures in a column whether dollars, budgets, quantities, etc. Remember to check the column title and examine the settings. Date ranges in NV2 cover the years 1903 to 2037. In the DOS version the default display for no date is 000 00,00. When no date is entered in NV2 the field is empty. An empty date field in NV2 will result in the display of all transactions from 1903 to 2037 including undated transactions.
In NV1 a 0 (zero) dated transaction is sorted to the beginning of time. It affects all balances in the books. In NV2 an undated transaction is sorted to the end of time. It affects no balances unless the End Date field is empty.
