To import a file containing import records:
While in your NV2 database (set of books), issue the Tools>Import Records command. A dialog window appears that will allow you to selected the import file, ask for help, and so on.
Enter the full path to the file you want to import, or click the <Select> button to pick it from a directory explorer.
Click the <Begin Import> button.
The number of objects to be imported will be displayed and the progress bars will show the progress as they are imported.
The <Begin Import> changes to <Show Log> so that you can switch to a view showing a log of operations performed and potentially errors encountered, and flip back to the progress view at any time.
When the import completes a confirmation dialog appears. Click <Yes> to delete the import file. Otherwise click <No>.
We recommend that you delete the import file after importing it to ensure that you do not accidentally import it again. This is true even if there were errors, since the errors are written to an unprocessed file that you can attempt to import later. See Log and Unprocessed Files.
