I haven’t checked yet, but assuming that the new Canadian T4 Reporting Requirements for 2020 for Covid-19 just came out this week, will the new Codes and periods be included in the T4 Reporting Set up or will we have to prepare reports ourselves and then enter manually?

Possibly a “dog’s breakfast” if the actual payroll reporting periods are different to their Code/Periods, such as Code 57 – Mar 15 to May 9.

Yes. Both versions of NewViews will calculate boxes 57 to 60 and print/display on the T4 without any manual intervention from the user.

This feature was announced in the 2.34..5 NV2 update released in December 2020.
