Print Accounts always prints one vendor to a page is their a way to fill a sheet of paper – extremely wasteful.

Is it possible to turn off pick list for individual columns. Very slow when user knows exactly what they want to enter.

The ability to print multiple accounts per page in NV2 is to be released in 2.09.

No, you cannot turn off the pick list. If you know the account name, type it in and press enter. The pick list should disappear quickly.

Hello Martin,

The client has 4600 accounts. When entering accounts in a journal it is quite slow to keep bringing up all these accounts. There is no pattern to the postings so using a different pick root doesnt help. When the Comptroller was entering journal transactions she stated that turning off the pick list was a must.

Correction to the above my client has 29,550 accounts.

I wonder if the reason the pick list appears slow is that access to the hard disk (or through the NV2 server is slow). See the NV2 2.08 Manual on How to Make NewViews run faster.

Here in single/multi-user the pick list appears and disappears quickly.
