When trying to create a private setup I often get the error “Attempted to activate a folder before all folders in the path to it have been previously activated.”
If I create a private setup at the level just above the report I was trying to activate the setup, I get the error “Attempted to private setup a window that is already private or is nested within a private setup.”
This problem should be fixed for the next update to NV2 which will be 2.28.2.
The problem occurs if the report is in a sub folder. You can move the report to the root of the report folder and then make it a Private Setup. Moving it back to the original sub folder will not keep it private.
