When making purchase or banking entries, I get repetitive descriptions on various dates, like suppliers, subcontractors or banking items, etc.

Just like in Excel, when you start typing in a field, first letter then second letter and so on, previous entries start to show up in the field from which you can select from, saving time having to type in the complete entry.(type ahead or autofill?)

Is this or will this feature be available in the near future.
(I always thought it should have been developed in NV2 since day one.)

Thanks for the question.

I will forward this request to our programmers to address.

For now use Ctrl C (Copy) and Ctrl V (Paste) to copy / paste entry descriptions.

Another method for copying transactions from one time period to another using the exact descriptions entered is Tools > Create Transactions > Post Dated.
