In setting up security, I have not been able to find a way for the edit begin and end dates to be effectively controlled by anyone other than, say, the administrator.

I would like to be able to setup a hierarchy similar to what was in NV1 where if Administrators Begin Date is set to Jan 1, 2009, no one else can have a Begin Date earlier than that.

So the Administrator has full rights; the “Comptroller” has all rights below Administrator, so can change edit dates for himself and others as long as they don’t exceed the Administrator’s dates.

I don’t want to have to limit access to this to only the Administrator because the Administrator is off site. The “comptroller” needs to be able to change the dates, but he can not be trusted to keep them within specified limits on his own. I know… not much of a “comptroller”.
