Starting in January 2025, Google and Microsoft email users must use OAuth with 3^rd party applications like NewViews (vs basic authentication with a username and password) to access email. Once this change has taken effect, Google and Microsoft email users will receive an error message indicating that their username/password combination is incorrect when they try to send email using NewViews.

We are currently in the final stages of incorporating support for OAuth in NewViews, which is expected to be available in version 2.38.4, which will be released as soon as possible.
