For the past month or two when I move mouse to highlight and pick a set of books to open or close or once I am in a set of books and I hit F3 to pick a value or description choice, it gives me a dialog box “Confirm to delete”
“delete or cancel”
of course I exit and manually type my responses in the field box instead.
How do I change behaviour in Newviews? ( It has worked since we converted to NV2 back in the day till recently)

I have seen the same thing and it turns out that it is my keyboard. I have an F Lock key that changes the behavior of the F Keys. If you have one, press the F Lock key once and then try F3.
