NewViews Workshops are held at our head office in Aurora, Ontario (Canada). We have a modern, fully equipped classroom. Each student is provided with their own desktop computer, and small class sizes ensure that our instructors deliver maximum learning value. Access by car is convenient and there is ample free parking.
Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. Lunch is provided.
A discount of 50% is applied to each additional attendee from the same organization when more than one person registers for the same workshop.

Basic NewViews Workshop (2 days)
Basic NewViews Workshop - 2 Days, $695
The two day Basic NewViews Workshop is designed to get a Newviews user up and running as quickly and easily as possible. As the name suggests, it covers all introductory topics, including installation and setup, and the core day to day accounting operations.
You will learn how to operate Newviews, how to navigate in a set of books and how to find data in an instant. You will also learn the core Newviews concepts, including document hierarchy, general ledger design, account linking, etc..
Accounting topics covered include how to create reports, create and maintain accounts, enter transactions of various types, print invoices, statements and checks, and more.
NewViews Refresher Workshop - 1 Day, $495
This workshop shows NewViews users how to maximize the functionality of NewViews by taking advantage of more than 35 features and enhancements that have been added to the most current version in the past year. Attendees are invited to bring a copy of their own books in order to perfect their NewViews operating skills in the context of their specific circumstances.
Intermediate NewViews Workshop - 1 Day, $495
This one day intermediate workshop builds on the Basic Workshop and participants will be required to attend the Basic Workshop as a prerequisite.
This workshop should be attended by senior bookkeepers/accountants, and/or the person who will serve as the NewViews 2 administrator. Topics covered include basic multi-user setup, internal controls, auditing, budgeting, purchase and sales order entry, inventory, bank and credit card reconciliation, customizing printing templates, exploiting Microsoft Excel, importing/exporting, mail merge, email, safeguarding databases, and more.
NewViews Payroll Workshop - 1 Day, $495

The one day Payroll Workshop builds on the Basic Workshop, and participants are strongly encouraged to attend the Basic Workshop as a prerequisite. NV1 users will recognize the same power and flexibility of NV1 payroll but should be pleased by the completely new, streamlined look and feel of NV2 payroll. You will learn how to create and manage employees of any type, process payroll transactions, edit check printing templates, print pay checks, track and remit payroll deductions, and more.
