Anybody found a way to protect agianst this? It’s too easy to make changes. Edit safety does not seem to work for this.

In version 2.08 of NV2 you will be prompted if you overwrite the account name with the same type of warning when you delete an item (Confirmation).
The Edit Safety field under System > User > User Name > Options is currently ignored for the 2.07 release (and prior) of NV2. It will be implemented in an upcoming update.
