    You will find NV2 much much slower than NV1, patricularly if you have to pause briefly between data entries. NV2 goes into some sort of disk write routine that is incredibly frustrating. The “type ahead” funtion of NV1 doesn’t work well with NV2 because “typing ahead” only works if you stay within one window.

    In a typical hour of data entry, you will be waiting half of that time for NV2 to finish its disk writes and restore you to data entry mode.

    On the plus side, when NV2 crashes with a bug error, you don’t lose much because of the frequent writes to disk.

    Yes, data integrity is our main concern in NV2. Speed issues are being addressed in an updated version of NV2 (which is being tested at the moment) and should be released after the next version of NV2 is released.

    Be patient, the need for speed in NV2 will be ready soon.
