I have to reinstall NV1 but cannot find the instructions.

What is it that you type in “Run” box? I think it’s the drive, ie. “e:” but what’s the rest.

    Thanks

    Hi again:

I just noticed a thread below about copying the program to a CD. I’m in Mexico and had someone e-mail me all the files from each 3 1/4 diskette in separate attachment. I then burned the files onto a CD and this is what I’m trying to use to re-install NV1 on my computer after a hard drive crash.
The thread below says you can install from the CD. Should the files be burnt on separate CD for each diskette?

    Thanks

Go to the following link and order a downloadable copy of NV1. For a nominal fee you can be up and going quickly.

Thanks Martin. However, no where do I see a download for a “nominal fee”. All I see is that I can order NV1 1.41b for $399.

If you only need the basic program files you can unpack them from the archives

You should have files install1.nvp to install4.nvp and you should have nvunpack.exe.
    Create a directory c:nv
copy the 5 files to that directory
from a dos prompt navigate to the nv dir and execute the command
    nvunpack.exe /x install1.nvp
do the same for the other 3 install files
This will extract the basic files to the nv directory

If you have any updated procedure libraries, you will have to install those with the getlib procedure.
