After importing a set of nv1 books, it is necessary to Click on every item in the tree. This re-index’s or sets the defaults or whatever. The point is for a large set of books it is extremely time consumming.

Why does the conversion not automatically set the defaults or indexing? If it takes abit longer fine, at least one is not having to go into every item and wait while nv2 does it’s stuff.

The same seems to happen if you Rt Click as Set Default. When you next go into a report there is a wait while nv2 again works away while we wait.

I agree the indexes should be created at the time of import.

Kirk: Posted this in the wrong thread.

Ok Budgets can be viewed by Down Arrow and Budget.

However, if one wants BudgetActualVariance on the same report, how do you set up the Multiple Period to show that report?

    Henry,

Select Custom Analysis instead of Multiple Period. Right mouse click on the blue custom analysis table and choose View > Analysis > New Column.
