Does nv2 setup accrual employees from nv1 as regular employees in nv2?

Tried a conversion with Accrual employees. NV2 conversion stopped with errors and did not create the nv2 set of books.

The following errors occured:

They must have run MAKEGT twice. Once using the “.” and another time using “~” as the separator. I’ll combine or delete the accounts and try the Import again.

Ok, in this case there were no entries in the “~” accounts causing the problem, so I just deleted them.

Ran NVEXPORT again,re-imported and this time the conversion completed without problems.

For the Accrual employees their Earnings do not Total To anywhere (which they should not). However, I assume you cannot run payroll for these employees in nv2, unless new regular payroll accounts are setup for these employees?

Yes, NV1 import converts accrual employees as Cash Employees in NV2.

NV2 Accrual payroll is not ready yet. You should not convert NV1 books into NV2 until accrual payroll is ready.

It brings the accrual employee into nv2, but you cannot do a Payrun on them. The 2nd screen only shows the Rates for the accrual earnings, no place to enter hrs. Of course the accrual earnings don’t have Total To’s.

I guess you would have to open up new cash accounts before you could do payrun. Not that they would want to. We’ll have them wait for the update.
