I have entered pay cheque descriptions under the Paycode Check Description column, but when I process the payroll, the hours or quantities do not show, just the descriptions I have entered.

Is there a way to enter the description I want to post on the cheque, together with the hours and rate paid for the individual description?

For example:

Pay Code/Description: Travel
Pay Cheque Description: Travel Time: ?? hours * $rate

In the paycode description field enter

Travel Time @T Hours * @R

The @T is the time/qty variable The @R is the rate

When you run the payroll it will pickup the variable and replace it with the value and place it in the description of the item .
