For some reason when I started with a new Payrun for weekly the consecutive reference number would increment on its own week after week, as well as move up to the next pay period based on the the anchor date. After reinstalling from a backup I had, I have to manually change the reference numbers for each employee.
Is there a way to get this process back to normal without creating a new Payrun?
The Pay Period # increments when you press the insert key. The Reference number remains blank.
The reference number should contain no alpha characters or spaces. Once a PAYRUN has been processed the reference numbers are incremented based on the base reference number entered on the PAYRUN table.
