    Hello:

I’ve intalled NV1 and all of my client files to my new computer using a jump drive, by copying the NV file from the old computer to the c drive in the new.

Everything seems to work well except for the print function. My printer is not “reading” the command and NV locks up every time I try to print.

The settings appear the same from one computer to the other. Both are using XP.
The printer is on a parallel port. It shows up in the properties under “DOT”
I’ve switched it to LPT1 with no luck. I did manage to print a directory list from DOS using the LPT3 port and this command “Dir > LPT3. I’m not sure if NV recognizes any other port than LPT1?

Could it be the way that I transferred the program over to the new computer? I don’t have a floppy drive on my new one to install my original disks.

Any advice on how to correct this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Found a solution!

Had to add “LPT3” to the file name field in the print options.
