I am attempting to set up a second payroll with time cards. I have set it up and encounter this error message: “Cannot process the Payrun. The payroll journal has not been set.” When I click on the “Help” button on the error message, the message reads: “No help available.”

My question is: How do I set the payroll journal? Also, just a thought, it might be helpful if links to help actually had pertinent information.

I think this is your problem

Got to the payrun screen.which you probably are on.

Next window below select settings

You probably do not have the accrued and expense accounts set
