Could someone at QWPAGE please advise if the updates to NV2 will always be complete full-blown versions. It’s pretty tough on us poor saps still using dial-up.

    Yes, it must be tough.

We really have no way of providing anything but full-blown versions.

The largest component of the installation by far is the on-line manual (which is under constant revision.) It’s just under 30 Mb, and unfortunately the bulk of that file’s contents are images that don’t compress very much.

The only thing I can add to provide some relief is the fact that the updates will become further apart.

i’ve been trying to download the NV2 upgrade (latest) but in the instruction guide, there is no other option wherein which to save the file except for drive a which unfortunately for us is intended for a diskette with only 1.44 MB capacity. would it not be possible to have choices on what drive is to be used when saving the file being downloaded? our computer provides for a drive e which is intended for a 700MB compact disc.

When you download a or file (any), The Save In choice drop down arrow should be clicked which then allows you to choose another drive.

Web Browser like Fire Fox have a preset destination. To change the preset destination, click on Edit > Properties and choose from it’s list of choices of where you wish to automatically download files to.

    Regards,
