    Hi Martin,
    Thanks for the tip. However I tried this and it still didn’t work. I think it must be some kind of glitch with the program. I think I’ll have to call tech support.

    I do not get an error message. The report is Payroll Records which is a sub-folder of Reports.

    This did not work so I guess I’ll just have to record the cheque number in the description field.

    I have 2 reports for payroll – one is PR (active payroll) and one is PR-Closed (inactive payroll). Both are main reports under Newviews > Report. I want to transfer an employee from the PR-closed report back to PR but when I select F3, PR is not even an option.
