NewViews installed in directory: E:binnv
Can you tell me why NewViews is spending an exorbitant amount of time quering for “E:binnvnv20.exelib” upon startup? 80% of the startup time is spent doing that!!
Needless to say, I don’t have that directory. Should I?

RStebihParticipantNewviews Version 2.08.9
In the Bank Payments Journal:
‘71.50-4.05’ in the amount field results in ‘(67.45)’ in the Bank Payments Journal!!
Do you not have a beta team to check this out before you release a service pack that’s suppose to fix this problem?
This has gotta be embarrassing for you guys!!
RStebihParticipantThanks anyways Martin. I’ll just wait…

RStebihParticipantThanks Martin for your response.
I have found a 4th way that better suites my needs until I catch up with that future date.

RStebihParticipantFor a MUCH cheaper solution, check out the program DOSPRN 1.77 located at:
At only US$14.95 (~CAD$19.00), here is a quick blurb from the website:
“DOSPRN allows you to use a good old DOS program with new printers irrespective of their types (Yes, USB and network printers, print-servers, and PDF-printers too!)”
I use this program extensively for printing to pdf files. Cuts down on paper costs…
You also have the ability for setting up ESC-sequences allowing you to manage information layout being displayed by a printing device.
