Anyone heard of anyone being notified by QW Page about the release of NV2?

September has two weeks left as of today (16).

If no one has yet been notified, it appears they will again miss their deadline.

Their web site specifically says they will notify registered users two weeks before release.

An HP duplex laser jet prints both sides perfectly in NV1 including the ASCII characters.

My understanding is that the driver is backward compatible and a parallel cable is also used rather than USB connection.

I love NewViews, no doubt about it.

My only fear is that NV2 will be a disappointment compared to NV1.

I have tried trial versions of Peachtree, Quick Books, and MYOB and their windows versions do not have near the flexibility of NV1.

I wonder what odds makers would give about the September release?

    September 2004, eh?

Can someone say if in NV2 a ledger account screen will look like the good old fashioned “manual type” ledger account screen in NV1?

Or, has NV2 gone the way of the other accounting programs?

Anyone have an idea as to just how many people are working on producing NV2?

I seem to recall that I read a profile in the late 80s or early 90s that Q.W. Page had a total of 30 employees broken up into 4 or so departments.

Maybe they have grown but if that number has remained constant, it does not appear there could be very many dedicated to the new release?

On the other hand, I wouldn’t have any concept as to how many people it would take to produce such a complex product.
